What is Nu School about?
Nu School is a four-week project-based learning curriculum created by students and for students to help fill experience gaps this summer due to age, inexperience, or the tough COVID job market.
We hope to target students who are looking to explore a new area of interest that they normally wouldn't be able to get exposure to. Our goal is to help students to narrow down their career/academic interests by working on a cool project this summer.
At Nu School, you'll be teamed up with others based on similar interests and work to tackle a problem of your choice after a few rounds of ideation.
You'll have access to mentors and daily webinars that help provide feedback and tangible skills for your project.
The program will end with a pitch day that will allow you to present to your peers and notable companies for the chance to win prizes and mentorship beyond the program to help you with your career.
Regardless of your academic standing or academic experiences, we hope that Nu school will help you learn skills that are not taught (or not taught enough) in schools and can lead to new perspectives on possible career paths.
Lastly, we hope that the relationship you build throughout the program with your peers, mentors, and companies will carry through long after Nu School.
